New Mosque in East London Coming Soon

A new mosque will soon be established in East London, England. The Bangladesh Limehouse Cultural Association (LBCA), which currently operates three separate buildings, is looking to move to the new 200-seat site on Gill Street, near the Westferry DLR station.

The Tower Hamlets Development Committee was advised by the town planning officer to approve a proposal for a new mosque within the next three years.

The officer's report said there was no problem with additional disruption or traffic disruption. After all, the mosque will not use loudspeakers to say the call to prayer. The mosque's operating hours are limited from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm every day.

The permit to build the mosque building will be discussed at the City Council meeting on January 12, 2011. (Mel / Ahlul Bayt News Agency). *
