DDHK.ORG - Even though it is far from the country, the Bustanul Ulum assembly does not want to be left behind in matters of participating in enlivening the Republic's Independence Day (HUT) Indonesia (RI). One of Dompet's da'wah partners Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) held the commemoration of the 76th Indonesian Independence Day at Butterfly Beach, Tuen Mun, on Sunday, August 29, 2021 ago.
"The event was filled with istighotsah activities and traditional Indonesian competitions," said Badriyah Becce, a member of the DDHK Volunteer Team who was also present at the event.
At the event, which was framed as an outbound activity and contemplation of nature, the Chairperson of the Bustanul Ulum Assembly, Shofia Yusuf, led the istighotsah. A total of 29 congregants seemed solemn to do self-reflection and contemplate the universe. Everything is done in the context of expressing gratitude to Allah Ta'ala for the blessings of independence destined for the Indonesian nation.
Meanwhile, Badriyah himself, who was present on behalf of DDHK, gave a speech and gave religious advice.
After the istighotsah, the event continued with the holding of competitions. Among them, scrutiny, flag collection, sarong racing, balloon racing, and tug of war. “The event was very exciting and very happy for them. What makes the most exciting is the quiz competition and the sarong race," said Badriyah.
