This is the Characteristics of the Best Humans and Ummah versions of Allah and His Messenger

KOWLOON BAY | HONG KONG - Acting General Manager Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK), Ustadz Imam Alfaruq, Sunday (16/6/2019), visited the Jam'iyah Maulid Sintudduror assembly, in Kowloon Bay. In the gathering, Ustadz Alfaruq delivered a tausiyah about "Being the Best Man according to Allah and His Messenger".

Regarding this, Ustadz Alfaruq recited the words of Allah Ta'ala in verse 110 of Surah Ali Imron, which means: "You are the best people who are born to humans, order those who are good, and prevent evil, and believe in Allah. . If the People of the Book believed, it would have been better for them, some of them were believers, and most of them were wicked people. "

"In the Tafsir Ibn Kathir explains the contents of the verse; Allah Azzawajalla has instructed us, the people of the Prophet Muhammad SAW that the best people are the people of the time of the Prophet Muhammad. After his period, namely the Khulafaurrosyidin, the Tabi'in, and the Tabi'ut Tabi'in, "said Ustadz Alfaruq.

In this verse, the four characteristics of the best people that Allah mean are described. First, "ukhrijat linnas". Namely, leaving or being present to benefit all mankind, regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, gender and social strata. All human beings on this earth are entitled to the goodness of Islam.

"Rahmatallil'alamin is the substance of this verse," he said.

Second, "ta'muruna bil ma'ruf". Namely, conveying things that are good or things that are good. This is reinforced by the word of Allah in Surah Al-'Ashr: "Watawasoubil Haq, Watawashoubissobr". "Advising each other in kindness and patience is the character of Muslims, and this is the order of Allah Azzawajalla," said Ustadz Alfaruq.

To be able to give advice in any context, we must first be pious or pious, so that what we advise touches the hearts of those we advise. This is because words will not be able, or difficult, to touch the hearts of the listeners if the words conveyed are not in accordance with the daily behavior of the listeners.

Consistency of the person advising is important in this matter, although we also should not be discouraged from giving advice, if we feel that we are not perfect. The Prophet said, "Balliqu 'Anni wallaw Ayah", convey from me even though one verse.

"This hadith has the spirit that if you have knowledge, and one of them is the Prophet's hadith which is valid, hasan, and weak, then convey it. Give wisdom on the knowledge that we know, even though we are trying our best to practice the good values contained in the hadith, "said Ustadz Alfaruq in his tausiyah.

Third, "watanhauna 'anil munkar". The best of people have the power to prevent evil. This means that Muslims must be strong in all matters, be it economic, political, educational, health, spiritual, cultural as well as defense and security.

"It is difficult for us to prevent munkar if these people do not have the strength," he said.

Fourth, "watukminunabillah". The three characteristics above, must be wrapped in a perfect conception of faith in Allah Azzawajalla ... Without faith, no matter how great the plan, no matter how strong the logic is, and no matter how high the aspirations are, will be shaken by the tests and trials that will naturally always be present in our lives. .

"So, the best people must fulfill the four basic characters above," said Ustadz Alfaruq.

He also emphasized that the best people can be realized if there are humans who are the most important components of that humanity. On that occasion, Ustadz Alfaruq also conveyed the three best human traits which are the important foundations for the realization of the best people, based on the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

First, study the Qur'an and teach it. The Prophet SAW said, as narrated by Imam Bukhari, "It is best that you are the ones who study the Qur'an and teach it."

Second, have good character. Rasulullah SAW said, as narrated by Imam Bukhari, "The best you are is the person who is the best in character."

Third, it is useful for others. As the hadith of the Prophet SAW, "The best human being is the one who is most beneficial to others."

"These are the best human traits that we can learn to apply to each of us. Hopefully we can become the best humans according to Allah and His Messenger, "said Ustadz Alfaruq. [DDHKNews Team]
