Evil Coworkers, What Should I Do?

DDHK.ORG - Assalamualaikum. Ustadz, I want to ask a question.

At my workplace there are 2 people Indonesia (my friend and I). I've only worked for 1 year and he's been working for 5 years.

In the past, I was employed in an agency office. Then, I was transferred to work at the employer's son's house because I was replaced with my friend who had worked for 5 years.

I don't like working at the employer's son's house. Finally, I moved to work at their house. They suit me too.

However, the other friend did not like me working at the employer's house. Because, he wanted his brother who worked there. And, that friend of mine used an unusual way (magic) to get rid of me.

I feel disappointed with the treatment of my friend, Ustadz. According to Islam, how to handle it, Ustadz?

I also have a video of him working at the agency office. I want to report him, because his visa is a domestic worker (domestic worker), but he is employed in an office. I had such thoughts because he always wanted to get rid of me. But on the other hand, it is also sinful.

Is it patient, praying, and surrendering to Allah?

Thank you, Ustadz.

Greetings, Fulanah

ANSWER:

Wassalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarokaatuh.

Bismillah... Working for a lawful livelihood is jihad in the way of Allah. Therefore, we must work in a trustworthy, procedural, and professional manner so that it is a blessing.

There will be problems in life. Including, in work matters such as stress, fatigue, there is less or unfair treatment, even including competition from fellow workers.

There are some people who want to achieve their desires in an instant way, with shortcuts, such as visiting smart people (shamans; red) and the like in order to get a good position or a big salary.

Islam strictly forbids this act. The culprit falls into shirk.

As for if it is true that you have been treated unfairly through magic or the like from your friends who are competitors in your work, then ask Allah to protect you more often, such as frequently reading morning and evening dhikr before going to bed. Frequent reading of the Qur'an, especially such as the letter alfatihah, the first 5 verses of the letter Al-Baqarah, the verse of the chair, the last 3 verses of the letter Al-Baqarah, the letter al Ikhlas, and muawwidzatain (Al Falaq and An Nas).

Don't repay the person who bewitched us with magic either. (And don't repay the evil of others with evil either, Red).

May you always be in Allah's protection...

Wallâhu a'lam bish-showâb.

Regards!
