Emergency PPKM Implemented in Java-Bali, Traveling Long Distances Must Have Vaccine Injected

"I have decided to implement Emergency PPKM from July 3 to July 20, 2021 specifically for Java and Bali," said Jokowi, Thursday (1/7/2021).

From the documents he received, CNNIndonesia.com released there are a number of rules that will be enforced during the implementation of Emergency PPKM. Among other things, domestic travelers who use long-distance transportation modes, either planes, buses or trains, must show a vaccine card, at least dose I vaccine. Other conditions, evidence of H-2 PCR test for airplane passengers and antigen test (H- 1) for other long-distance modes of transportation.

100 Percent WFH. During Emergency PPKM, all office activities are carried out at home or 100 percent work from home (WFH).

Even so, the government still provides concessions for workers in essential sectors. They are allowed to apply 50 percent of work from the office. The scope of this essential sector is finance and banking, capital markets, payment systems, information and communication technology, non-COVID-19 quarantine handling hotels, as well as export-oriented industries.

Not only that, for critical sectors 100 percent are allowed to work from the office while still implementing strict health protocols.

These critical sectors include energy, health, security, logistics and transportation, food, beverage and supporting industries, petrochemicals, cement, national vital objects, disaster management, national strategic projects, construction, basic utilities (such as electricity and water), and fulfillment industries. basic daily needs of the community.

Online Learning. During the implementation of emergency PPKM, all teaching and learning activities in schools are carried out online or using the distance learning method (PJJ).

Restricted Market. During Emergency PPKM, shops selling daily necessities such as supermarkets, traditional markets, grocery stores, and supermarkets are limited to operating hours until 20.00:50 local time with a capacity of XNUMX percent of visitors.

Meanwhile, pharmacies and drugstores are allowed to open 24 hours a day.

Mall Closed. Under this new rule, malls, shopping centers and trade centers are required to close. Not only that, the implementation of eating and drinking activities in public places, both in food stalls, restaurants, cafes, street vendors to hawker stalls are not allowed to open graves on the spot.

Operational Construction Activities. The implementation of construction activities, starting from the construction site and project site, continues to operate 100 percent by implementing stricter health protocols.

Places of Worship Closed. Places of worship, both mosques, prayer rooms, churches, temples, temples and pagodas as well as other public places that functioned as places of worship were temporarily closed.

Not only that, all public facilities in the form of public areas, public parks, public tourist attractions and other public areas are temporarily closed.

Social Activities Closed. Art and cultural activities, sports and social activities, both art and cultural locations, sports facilities, and social activities that can cause crowds and crowds are temporarily closed.

Public Transportation Restricted. Public transportation, whether public transportation, mass transportation, taxis, both conventional and online, to rental or rental vehicles, is enforced with a maximum capacity setting of 70 percent by implementing stricter health protocols.

Restricted Wedding Reception. The wedding reception was attended by a maximum of 30 people by implementing stricter health protocols and not eating at the reception. Provision of food is only allowed in a closed place and to take home.

Must Wear Mask. Masks are still worn when carrying out activities outside the home. The public is not allowed to use a face shield without the use of a mask.

The government's decision to implement this emergency micro PPKM is based on data that shows the spike in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia is getting out of control. Most recently, the addition of daily cases again broke the record with an increase of 21.807 cases in a day on Wednesday (30/6/2021). With these additional cases, the cumulative number of positive cases reached 2.178.272.
