Dubai Opens an Exhibition on the Life of the Prophet Muhammad

Dubai-Exhibit-Celebrates-Prophets-LifeDDHK News, UAE - The Dubai International Holy Quran Museum, United Arab Emirates (UAE), opened an exhibition about the life journey of the Prophet Muhammad. The visitors will commemorate the life of the Prophet and the struggle for preaching Islam as well as understanding Islamic teachings.

"You will rediscover every step of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and learn more about Islam and its many facets," said Dr Ahmed Al Ghamdi, a Saudi scholar and researcher who worked at the museum. The National Sunday (12/1).

The miniature city of Makkah is made exactly like 1435 years ago. The museum door will automatically say greetings and prayers when opened.

The exhibition is a branch of the Prophet's Museum founded in Makkah by Dr Nasir Al Zahrani, a Saudi cleric, writer and poet, who has brought his vision to Dubai as part of what he calls a “universal humanistic project”.

The exhibition also recounts the Prophet Muhammad's life from birth to death, including everything that is known about his life, from the types of combs and pots he used, the clothes he wore in battle and the food and medicines he used to eat.

The exhibition features a 3-D interactive film that takes visitors inside the Prophet's house, showing how he lived.

"No matter how knowledgeable you are, I am sure you will learn something new here, said Dr Al Ghamdi.

The Dubai International Holy Quran in Mamzar, across from the Cultural and Scientific Association, is an impressive building designed to look like an old palace with Islamic calligraphy on the ceiling and walls.
