Practicing Focus in Da'wah

It turned out that it was also fun to preach under the bridge. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of humans who are busy with various world affairs, they, Indonesian migrant workers (PMI), gather for yasinan, shalawatan and listening to recitation. It all became a special attraction for me: because it tested mentally and focused on what material to deliver.

Not a few Hong Kong residents came to see us. While doing prayer, I muttered in my heart, "When I convey the noble lafadz with all my heart, they will accept it with their heart too". And it seems right. Hong Kongers who hear our prayers are seen enjoying it too. In fact, there are Hong Kong people who are very old and show signs of being carried away by the strains of the prayers being sung.

Apart from that, there are things I really admire about the congregation of the Association of Hidayah Searchers (KPH), from the recitation house. The trials and distractions of a passing person do not make the congregation blink their eyes or look away. They stay focused on listening to the tausiyah that I convey. Every now and then my taklim was interspersed with jokes that made them laugh boisterously to break up the atmosphere so it wouldn't be boring.

Because usually, nuances like that will make people reluctant to listen to tausiyah. However, what migrant workers show in their climate is beyond ordinary. They continued to show enthusiasm for the religious advice presented.

I feel that with such enthusiasm they have succeeded in coloring Hong Kong with their faith and Islam. I also conveyed to them that the current assembly called KPH (Collection of Hidayah Seekers) is more accurately named KPH (Hong Kong Rescue Group). This is because the prostrations, faith, dhikr, and prayers they chant have protected and saved Hong Kong.

I also remembered the holy verse Al-Quran which means as follows, "Allah will not torture them as long as you are in their midst. And Allah will not punish them, while they ask forgiveness. " (Surat al-Anfal: 33) []
