Indonesian Government Trials to Buy 3 Kg LPG Using KTP

DDHK. ORG - LPG 3 Kg is currently under the attention of the Government Indonesia. In order to be right on target, buying 3 kg of LPG uses a KTP.

Yes, Pertamina is currently carrying out a trial run for the distribution of 3 kg LPG so that it is right on target. Those who buy LPG canister melons must show their KTP.

Reporting from Answers, the trial purchase is located at Pertamina's official base in a number of areas. Among them, Tangerang, Semarang, Batam and Mataram.

The use of KTP is related to data targeting the accelerated eradication of extreme poverty (P3KE). This P3KE data contains information on the identity of residents who have been validated by the population and civil registration services and have status well-being.

Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Irto Ginting explained, the P3KE data will be inputted into Pertamina's precise web based subsidies. The public does not need to download an application or use a certain QR code to buy 3 kg LPG. Only by showing a KTP, people can already buy it.

''Buying as usual, just show his KTP. Those who have entered the P3KE database can continue to buy. For those whose data has not been entered, the relevant data will be updated and they can immediately buy as usual,'' explained Irto.

According to Itro, this mechanism is already running. However, so far the recording is manual. Namely, assisted by a logbook at each base.

He hopes that the process of digitizing purchase data can be completed quickly. Especially with the ongoing trials.

''Still continuing the trial. We are currently synchronizing data targeting the accelerated elimination of extreme poverty (P3KE),'' he said.

From the ongoing trials, it is known that on average most people buy one to four cylinders of 3 kg LPG per month.

Irto revealed that the policy to purchase 3 kg LPG using a KTP might be implemented next year. Irto could not confirm in more detail when the policy was launched.

“Next year we will roll out gradually. When will the policy be implemented, it is still being coordinated with the relevant regulators,'' he said. [DDHK News]
