Prayer Streamlining Fortune for Blessings

Prayer facilitating sustenance can be prayed to be given a blessed and abundant sustenance. This prayer can be recited when you want to start the day or after every fardu prayer. The reason is, success not only requires effort but also must be accompanied by prayer.

Reporting from Indonesian CNN, sustenance consists of two kinds, as quoted from a book entitled Knocking on the Door of Fortune by Irwan Kurniawan.

The first is external sustenance related to the body or in the form of materials such as health. The second is spiritual sustenance related to the heart, such as happiness and knowledge.

Allah SWT says in QS Saba' verse 36:

قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّى يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاِ

Qul inna rabbī yabsuṭur-rizqa limay yasyā`u wa yaqdiru wa lākinna akṡaran-nāsi lā ya'lamụn

Which means: “Say: 'Indeed, my Lord widens sustenance for whom He wills and narrows (for whom He wills). but most people do not know'”

Here are some prayers so that Allah SWT gives smooth sustenance as reported by NU Online.

 

  1. Prayer for sustenance by Ibn Umar RA

The following prayer is meaningful to ask for ease of sustenance, especially when you are in the midst of hopelessness. This prayer can be said to ask Allah to open the door of sustenance again.

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَمَالِي وَدِيْنِيْ. اَللَّهُمَّ رَضِّنِيْ بِقَضَائِكَ، وَبَارِكْ لِيْ فِيْمَا قُدِّرَ لِيْ حَتَّى لَا أُحِمََِّ خَّرْتَ وَلَا تَأْخِيْرَ مَا عَجَّلْتَ

Bismillahi 'ala nafsi wa mali wa dini. Allahumma radhdhini bi qadha'ika, wa barik li fima quddira li hatta la uhibba ta 'jila ma akhkharta, wa la t khira ma 'ajjalta.

Meaning: "In the name of Allah who controls myself, my property and my religion. My God, condition my heart to be willing to accept Your provisions. Bless me in all that is destined for me so that I am reluctant to hasten what you delay and are reluctant to postpone what you hasten."

 

  1. Prayer for sustenance from Surah Al Maidah verse 114

This prayer for smooth sustenance was previously recited by the Prophet Isa AS. Here's the reading.

O Allah, رَبَّنَآ اَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَاۤىِٕدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ تَكُوْنُ لَنَا عِيْدًا لِّاَوَّلَِا رَوَا ???

Allaahumma rabbana anzil 'alainaa maa'idatam minas samaa'i takunu lana 'iidal li'awwalinaa wa aakhirinaa wa aayatam mingka warzuqnaa wa anta khairur raaziqiin.

Meaning: "O our Lord, send down to us a dish from the sky (the day it descends) will be a feast for us, that is for those who are now with us and those who come after us, and be a sign for Your power, give us sustenance and You are the best provider of sustenance.”

 

  1. Prayer for sustenance from Surah Al Qasas verse 24

This prayer for the ease of sustenance was once said by the Prophet Musa AS when he was hit by difficulties.

رَبِّ اِنِّيْ لِمَآ اَنْزَلْتَ اِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيْرٌ

Rabbi innii limaa anzalta ilayya min khairin faqiir

Meaning: O my Lord, I really really need something good (food) that You sent down to me.
