Prayer After Midnight Prayer

Tahajud is a sunnah prayer that is done after sleeping in the last third of the night. There is no limit to praying the midnight prayer, but at least two cycles.

The primacy of the midnight prayer is believed to be able to increase the degree or position of the person performing it. This is explained in the letter Al-Isra verse 79:

وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهٖ نَافِلَةً لَّكَۖ عَسٰٓى اَنْ يَّبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَّحْم ُوْدًا

Meaning: "And on some nights, do the midnight prayer as an additional worship for you; may your Lord raise you to a commendable place.”

For Migrant Friends who are living a challenging life in an overseas country, the Tahajud prayer can be used as a suggestion to pour out your heart's content (confine) to Allah SWT. At the same time, submit all requests for the good of yourself and loved ones in your hometown.

The following is the reading of the prayer after midnight, complete with Arabic, Latin and their meanings.
