This is Dhikr and the practice of washing away sins

Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

What dhikr practices can be read when you have finished praying during the Fajr and Asr prayers? So that your sins will be forgiven for the next 80 years, including the sins of your mother and father?

ANSWER:

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings be upon you

Everyone must have made mistakes and committed sins, but the best sinners are those who always repent. Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

كلُّ بني آدم خَطَّاءٌ، وخيرُ الخَطَّائِينَ التوابون. (حديث حسن رواه الترمذي وابن ماجه والدارمي وأحمد)

"Every child of Adam (must) be guilty, and the best guilty person is the one who always repents." (Hasan hadith narrated by Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ad-Darimi, & Ahmad)

There are many practices of dhikr and prayer that can erase sins. However, what is more important is how clever a person is to guard himself so that he does not always fall into sin. Sins that can be erased by prayer, dhikr, or blessings on the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam are small sins, not big sins. If the sin is big, then the way to erase it is to repent, by fulfilling the conditions such as:

1. Regret the sinful act,
2. Abandon these major sins, as well
3. Promise and commit not to repeat it.

It is important to know that if small sins are continuously committed, they will also become big sins, because there is intentionality in doing them and taking them lightly.

Asking Allah Subhanãhu wa Ta'ala for forgiveness can be done at any time. However, there are several times that are highly recommended, such as istighfar at dawn before Fajr, after fardlu prayers, Dluha prayers, and so on.

One of the recommended times to ask for forgiveness of sins by means of dhikr is after Fajr and Asr prayers. These include the following words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam:

in English ه ولو كانت مثل زبد البحر (النسائي)

"Whoever makes tasbih (reciting Subhanallah) after the Fajr prayer a hundred times, and performs tahlil (reciting La ilaha illallah) a hundred times, then his sins are forgiven even if they are as many as there are fruits in the sea." (HR Nasa'i)

So, is there any reading that can erase decades of sin?

Narrated from the friend Abu Hurairah radliyallãhu 'anhu, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you انِينَ عَامًا (رواه ابن شاهين)

"Shalawat to me is light above Shirat, so whoever prays to me on Friday eighty times, his sins for eighty years will be forgiven." (HR Ibnu Syahin in the book At-Targhib fi fadha'il al-a'mal)

In the hadith above there is another martyr (witness) history, namely as narrated by friend Anas bin Malik radliyallãhu 'anhu that there was a friend who asked:

"O Messenger of Allah, how do I pray to you?"

So Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam answered:

تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ ونبيك ورسولك ا لنبي الأمي (رواه الخطيب البغدادي)

"That is, you say, 'Allahumma sholli 'ala Muhammadin 'abdika wa rosulikannabiyyil ummiyyi' (O Allah, give blessings to Muhammad, Your servant and Your messenger, an ummi prophet)" (HR Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi)

Indeed, the authenticity of this hadith is still disputed by the Ulama, so many people weaken it. However, practicing weak hadith (dhaif) in matters of fadhail al-a'mal (virtue of charity) is permissible as long as it does not involve matters of faith.

Wallahu a'lam,
Hope it works!

Peace, mercy and blessings of God
