Ani Yudhoyono-Hatta Rajasa Pair Discourse Appears in the 2014 Presidential Election

Presidential spokesman, Julian Aldrin Pasha, said that the discourse on the nomination of First Lady Ani Yudhoyono as a presidential candidate did not come from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his family.

"What is certain is that it did not come from Mrs. Ani or from the family of the President," said Julian when met at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Tuesday.

According to Julian, discourse is purely a form of aspiration or views conveyed by certain individuals or individuals.

He refused when asked for a response about Ani Yudhoyono's nomination as the number one person in Indonesia. "Please confirm, ask the conveyer," he said.

Previously, there was a discourse on the pair Ani Yudhoyono and Hatta Rajasa as presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2014 elections.

After that, the discourse of the pair Ani Yudhoyono and Aburizal Bakrie emerged.

Chairman of the Golkar Party Central Leadership Council Priyo Budi Santoso said that the emergence of the discourse between Ani Yudhoyono and Hatta Rajasa would provoke the emergence of another pair.

"Frankly, I do not know there is a discourse on the pair Ani Yudhoyono and Hatta Radjasa as presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2014 elections," said Priyo Budi Santoso.

Priyo said it was only natural for the Democratic Party to nominate Ani Yudhoyono as a presidential candidate because he had the capacity and strong political traces.

The deputy chairman of the DPR RI added that it is still too early for the Golkar Party to discuss the presidential and vice presidential candidates.

According to him, many Golkar Party cadres in the regions have asked the Golkar Party Chairman, Aburizal Bakrie, to run as a presidential candidate, but until now Aburizal has yet to give an answer. "Considering that it is still too early, Pak Aburizal has not yet given an answer," he said. (AMONG)
