One thousand youths from 73 countries will attend the International Meeting of Islamic Awakening (International Assembly Islamic Awakening) in Tehran, January 29-30. They will discuss how to start an Islamic awakening which will later be brought to their respective countries.
"The revival of Islam will be determined by these youths," said the Secretary General of the International Islamic Awakening Assembly, Ali Akbar Velayati in Tehran, Saturday (28/1).
Velayati explained, the secretariat general will help implement the results of the meeting so that this meeting is expected to be the beginning of the awakening of all Islamic countries in the world, including Indonesia.
Various themes will be discussed in this meeting, such as reviewing the role of women in the government of Muslim countries, the model of government in Islamic countries, the pathology of Islamic awakening, its opportunities and threats, to talks about global arrogance under the control of the United States and Zionists against the rise of Islam.
Velayati also welcomed the phenomenon of the "Arab Spring" which is considered the beginning of Islamic awakening. According to him, they have succeeded in bringing Islamic values as the spirit of the new government. "Welcome to the government that follows Islam and Islamic democracy in government," he explained.
According to him, this new generation will cut through the era of colonialism and imperialism promoted by the United States and its allies.
