I look at the recitation of the Quran before Friday prayers

Pak ustad just before Friday prayers / sermons, there are mosques that like to echo the holy verses of the Koran using a loudspeaker, but some are not. Please explain ?? 081394375XXX

ANSWER: Mosques that do this consider it a "reminder" for Muslims to get ready for Friday prayers. Mosques that do not do so consider it "making it up".

So far we have not found any information (arguments) that states that this was done or happened during the time of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. Therefore, some scholars are of the opinion that the recitation of the Quran that is pronounced before the Friday call to prayer (as well as the call to prayer at other times of prayer) by using a loudspeaker is made up (bid'ah).

It will also disturb those who pray and read Al-Quran, dhikr, and pray while waiting for the preacher to get on the pulpit. The Prophet (saw) forbade reading aloud Al-Quran in the mosque because it would disturb the concentration of other worshipers.

Imam Malik and Imam Ahmad have narrated in a authentic sanad from al-Bayadhi ra, that the Prophet (saw) once went out to meet people who were praying, while their voices were heard reading loudly. Al-Quran, then he said:

"Surely a person who prays meritorious to his Rabb, so let him pay attention to what he is meritorious. And don't some of you raise your voice over others in reading Al-Quran". (HR. Malik, Ahmad, Al-Baihaqi).

"You know, verily each of you has merit with his Rabb. Therefore, do not disturb some of you, and do not lift one up over the other in reading Al-Quran. " (Narrated by Abu Daud). Allah knows best.*
