The last time Hong Kong had a positive record for 2 consecutive days without any additional new cases of Covid-19 was in January. Namely, on January 27 and 28, despite a spike in the number of new cases at the end of March.
"Exactly a month ago, Hong Kong recorded a record 65 cases in a single day, at the height of the 'second wave' of the Covid-19 epidemic caused by the return of tens of thousands of Hong Kong residents from abroad," wrote the public broadcaster Radio Television Hong Kong ( RTHK).
Despite the decline in the number of cases in recent days, the Center for Health Protection (CHP) reminded Hong Kong people to maintain personal hygiene and avoid unnecessary activities, such as gathering and eating together. This is important, to avoid contact with people without symptoms who may carry the corona virus.
At the same time, Macau has recorded 19 consecutive days without additional new cases of Covid-19, since April 8. "The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center today (27/4/2020) announced that another new coronavirus patient has been discharged and transferred to the Centro Clínico de Saúde Pública (Public Health Clinical Center) for an isolation period of 14 days of further recovery," wrote Macau News.
Meanwhile in Indonesia, the number of Covid-19 cases continues to grow. The Indonesian Ministry of Health announced that there were an additional 214 new cases on Monday, bringing the total to 9.096.
It was also announced that an additional 44 patients recovered, with a total of 1.151 recovered. Meanwhile, 22 people died, to 765.
