Hong Kong Poor People Sleep in Animal Cages

Hong Kong is one of the richest cities in the world. The prosperity of Hong Kong can be witnessed by the abundance of luxury housing and very high incomes. However, thousands of Hong Kong residents also still live on the poverty line. They even sleep in animal cages.

Australian photographer Brian Cassey managed to capture a photo of the dark side of Hong Kong. In the photo, a poor Hong Kong resident sleeps in an animal enclosure inside his apartment. The apartment they live in is also very shabby and looks far from clean.
