DDHK News, Hong Kong - The second trial of Erwiana's persecution case, a BMI from Ngawi, was held on Tuesday (25/3) at the Kwun Tong Magistracy Court. The trial was attended by several BMI activists, Hong Kong residents, and various international media.
According to one of the BMIs present, Erwiana's trial was very short and was postponed until April 29, 2014 on the grounds that the special evidence for the medical report was not yet complete.
"The judge asked the prosecutor to make sure all documents were complete at the next trial. Erwiana's employer, Law Wan Tung, remains a city detainee and is required to report to the police station three times a week, namely Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 18.00 - 21.00 Hong Kong time, "he explained.
BMIs who attended admitted that they were disappointed because the trial was delayed.
