Dompet Dhuafa Bamboo Processing Training Degree
DDHK News, Indonesia - A number of residents of Masigit Village, Cipatat District, West Bandung Regency, West Java, attended a bamboo processing training on Monday (19/1).
The training is a series of activities from the Bamboo Tree Alms program Dompet Dhuafa in collaboration with the Saung Angklung Udjo Foundation.
"This training aims to improve community skills in processing bamboo into products of high economic value," said Ika Akmala, from the Social Development division. Dompet Dhuafa.
Ika said that the training that invited speakers from Saung Angkung Udjo also provided other job options for the surrounding community, especially for the elderly and mothers. That way, they can get income for their welfare.
Apart from training, DD also planted 2778 Black Bamboo Tree seedlings in Gunung Masigit Village, Cipatat and 556 seeds. The tree almsgiving in Gunung Masigit Village has entered the 3rd stage. Activities are being carried out, namely embroidery and planting bamboo seedlings which took place last December. (Dompetdhuafa.org). *
