Cardiff UniversityDDHK News, England - The Center for the Study of Islam in the UK is collaborating with Cardiff University, Wales, England, to conduct an Islamic study program. This program is primarily aimed at introducing the true image of Islam and Muslims, during the next two months.

"Islam is the largest religion in the world, and the second largest in the UK," said Professor Sophie Gilliat-Ray, director of the study center, Monday (27/1).

The series of public lectures, organized and hosted by the Center for Islamic Studies in the UK, took place at Cardiff University during February and March 2014.

Cardiff, the largest city in Wales, is home to 25.000 Muslims. Britain is the home of a sizeable Muslim minority, around 2,7 million.
