"So fossil energy needs to be controlled, minimized. This burning of fossil energy needs to be reduced or even replaced with energy that is more environmentally friendly. For example, renewable energy, solar energy, wind energy, water energy," continued Dwikorita.
Greening by looking at the function of trees that convert CO2 into O2 or oxygen is the next mitigation effort that can be done. Currently, according to Dwikorita, the forests on earth are decreasing, especially tropical forests. Therefore, it is necessary to promote greenery to produce more O2.
"Then public transportation. Not everyone rides a motorbike and emits CO2. But with mass transportation it also reduces. Those are glimpses of efforts to mitigate or control the rate of increase in temperature," said Dwikorita.
Adaptation also needs to be done in addition to mitigation efforts. Humans must adapt or adapt to the conditions of the earth. He gave examples of adaptations that can be made in response to the recent seasonal shifts, where when the rainy season should come but it's still hot and vice versa.
