Warung Malang Club, a comfortable place to eat for Indonesian citizens in Hong Kong

Warung Malang Indonesian Halal Fast Food Hong Kong is no stranger to BMIs. It is strategically located, close to the Indonesian Consulate, to be precise at Dragon Rise Building, 2 Floor B-2, 9-11 Pennington St. Causeway Bay Hong Kong, and not far from Victoria Park, the center of gathering for HK BMI when filling out work holidays.

According to the owner, H. Mochammad Nurali, the shop, whose official name is Warung Malang (WM), was established in 1997. WMC is the first Indonesian shop in Hong Kong and received a Halal certificate from The Incorporated Trustees of The Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong.

WM also received a charter from ASTRO - OASIS from Malaysia, was also covered by Surya TV Singapore, not to mention TV Indonesia.

"WM provides a variety of Indonesian dishes, tumpeng orders, HK BMI birthday packages, flash photos (8 sheets of HKD 30), photocopies of documents, Islamic books, and money transfers to Indonesia," said Pak Ali.

"Almost all Indonesian ustadz who come to Hong Kong always eat at our stalls, as well as KJRI officials, guests from Indonesia, as well as BMI HK friends," added Mr. Ali's wife who is usually called Mrs. Nurali.
