Ustadz profile: Jauhar Ridloni Marzuq

DDHK.ORG - far Ridloni Marzuq was born in Lamongan, November 15, 1987. His education was started from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah 05 in Mencorek, Brondong, Lamongan. After graduating from MIM 05 Mengorek, Jauhar continued his study at the Al-Ishlah Sendangagung Islamic Boarding School led by KH Muhammad Dawam Saleh. In addition, in the afternoon Jauhar also doubles as a student at Muhammadiyah Junior High School in the same area.

Graduated from Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Ishlah, Jauhar continued his education at the Darussalam Gontor Pnonrogo Islamic Boarding School in 2002. The period of nyantri in Gontor which should have taken him within 4 years was able to be shortened to 3 years due to his brilliant achievements in the first year. In 2005 Jauhar graduated from Pondok Modern Gontor, and only left Gontor a year later, after completing a service assignment at the cottage for one year.

After two years of free time at the Umar bin Khatab Arabic Language Institute, Surabaya, in 2008 Jauhar continued his undergraduate education at Al-Azhar University in Egypt on a scholarship from Al-Azhar through the Egyptian Embassy in Indonesia. His love for the science of Tafseer led him to enter the Faculty of Ushuluddin to take the concentration of Quranic Tafseer and Ulumul. Four years later, Jauhar succeeded in obtaining a "license" degree from the oldest Islamic University with a final grade of "jayyid jiddan".

While in Cairo, Jauhar was known to be active in the world of scientific discussion and writing. He has also won several awards in the world of writing, such as first place in the non-fiction book review writing competition held by the Indonesian Student Library in Cairo (PMIK) in 2009, first place in the popular article writing competition held by the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo to commemorate the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day in 2011, and won first place in the essay writing competition held by the Walisongo Study Group (KSW) in 2012.

Apart from that, Jauhar has also been entrusted as Chief Editor of the Informatics Bulletin ICMI Orsat Cairo, Coordinator of Al-Wasathiyah PCI Muhammadiyah Cairo Ulumul Quran Studies, Chairperson of the 2008 Al-Azhar Scholarship recipient Student Association, Deputy Coordinator of Nun Thought Studies Center of the Modern Gontor Pondok Modern Family Association (IKPM) Cairo branch, Council on Foreign Relations PCIM Cairo and initiator and coordinator of study studies Al-Quran Al-I'JAZ in 2012.

Jauhar's writings are widely published in local student bulletins and magazines, such as the Informatics Bulletin, Breakthrough Bulletin, IQRA Bulletin, Sinar Muhammadiyah Magazine, Latansa Magazine, Al-Dzikr Journal and Himmah Journal. In the national arena, Jauhar's writings have been published several times in Republika, Hidayatullah and Gontor Magazine.

In 2013 Jauhar lived in the State of Brunei Darussalam to teach at the Al-Falaah Islamic School as well as taking a master's study in the concentration of Ushuluddin at the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA). In 2018, Jauhar completed the Master program from UNISSA and returned to Indonesia.

Currently Jauhar lives in Sungailiat, Bangka, serving as a permanent imam at the Al-Ittihaad Sungailiat Mosque, as well as teaching at several universities, such as Bangka Belitung University, Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung University and Bangka Belitung Manifacture Polytechnic.
