Prayers for Sulistyani and Neni

EAST JAVA | INDONESIA - On Friday (16/8/2019) last week, volunteers Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK), Nur Aini, who is currently in her hometown in Indonesia, staying in touch and visiting Sulistyani at her residence, Druju Village, Malang Regency, East Java. Sulistyani is a former Hong Kong Indonesian migrant worker (PMI) who was treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital for five months, 27 October 2018 - 22 March 2019, because she had blood cancer. Due to illness, Sulistyani recently returned to Indonesia.

Nur Aini had accompanied DDHK's General Manager, Imam Baihaqi, to visit Sulistyani, while still being treated in the hospital. At that time, the Imam had just arrived to serve in Hong Kong.

"Alhamdulillah, Mbak Sulistyani is in a better condition. And thank God, his hair, which had fallen out in the past due to chemo therapy, now appears to be growing fertile and blackened, although it is still short, ”said Nur Aini.

Nur Aini also took the time to visit Neni, a former DDHK volunteer at her home in Jember, East Java. "Please pray for the Migrant Friends in Hong Kong, I hope Mrs. Neni will be well from her illness," said Nur Aini.

Neni, Nur Aini explained, is currently suffering from endometriosis, a kind of cyst in the uterus and fallopian tube. [DDHKNews]
