Why do we have to become ahlul-Quran?
اقرءوا القرآن فإنه يأتي يوم القيامة شفيعا لأصحابه ،
Meaning: Read Al-Quran Karena Al-Quran will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for those who read it (with tadabbur and practice it). [HR. Muslim: 1910]
يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ اقْرَأْ وَارْتَقِ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فِى الدُّنْيََ
Meaning: It is said to those who read (memorize) the Koran later, 'Read and go up and tartillah as you are in the world of the mentals! Because your position is at the end of the verse that you read (memorized). (HR. Abu Dawud, Tirmidzi, Ibn Hibban-Hasan Sohih)
So it is fitting that our mission in life is: to be the best human being who learns Al-Quran and teach it with istiqomah.
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
That way, we will have straight intentions in worshiping Allah.
وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ مين
Meaning: Whereas they are not ordered except to worship Allah by purifying their obedience to Him in (practicing) a straight religion, and so that they offer prayers and pay zakat; and that is the true religion.
The heirs Al-Quran and the reward
ثم أورثنا الكتاب الذين اصطفينا من عبادنا فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات بإذن الله ذلك هو الفضل الكبير
Meaning: Then We inherit the Book to those whom We choose from among our servants, then among them there are those who persecute themselves and among them there are those who are middle and among them there are (also) who first do good with permission. God. That is the great favor. (QS. Faatir: 32)
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا يۖۖ
Meaning: (For them) heaven 'And they enter into it, in it they are adorned with bracelets of gold, and with pearls, and their clothing is silk in it. (QS Faatir: 33)
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ آبْائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ
Meaning: (namely) heaven 'Adn which they enter into together with the pious people of their fathers, wives and grandchildren, while angels enter their places from all doors. (Surah Ara'd: 23)
سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
Meaning: (while saying): "Salamun 'alaikum bima shabartum". So how good the ending place would be. [DDHK News]
