Barbaric, Israeli Soldiers Shoot Gaza Residents Queuing for Food

The Israeli army has again demonstrated barbaric acts against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Most recently, Zionist soldiers shot at civilians who were queuing for aid food on Thursday, February 29.

Due to this immoral incident, 112 Palestinians were killed and 760 other people were injured by a series of gunfire from Israeli soldiers. This attack occurred south of Gaza City when hundreds of residents were waiting for trucks distributing various humanitarian aid to arrive in the area.

The Israeli military confirmed the incident. However, they argued that "dozens of Palestinians" were injured because they were "trampled" when the crowd became violent when humanitarian aid arrived. Quoted by Al Jazeera, the Israeli military even claimed that the Gaza residents had started to "loot" the humanitarian aid trucks.

On the other hand, Israeli sources told AFP that Israeli soldiers opened fire on residents because people approached the troops and posed a threat. "The crowd approached the troops in a way that posed a threat to the troops, who responded to the threat with live fire," the source said.

AFP reported that the Director of Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safiya, said all the victims were hit by "bullets and shrapnel from troops." [Source: CNN Indonesia]
