On November 14, 2019, Rika transited through Hong Kong on a return flight to Jakarta, from Taiwan, where she worked. However, he missed his flight.

In Hong Kong, Rika was rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Kwai Chung. Then, he was transferred to Kwai Chung Hospital, which is located close to Princess Margaret Hospital.

At Kwai Chung Hospital, said Nur, Rika, who was suspected of having depression, was free to do various activities, such as writing, drawing, playing guitar, and singing. Because, his hands and feet were not tied anymore.

Nur said that Rika's drawing was good. Luckily for Nur, the woman from Lampung agreed to give her work to him as a memento. The result of Rika's hand creation is visible in this news picture.

When visiting him, Nur and his friends also asked Rika to recite the Basmallah sentence, as well as read the letters Al-Fatihah, Al-Kafirun, and several other letters. "Alhamdulillah, what made my friend and I touched was Rika still memorized the letters of the Koran," he said.

As is known, Rika Puspita is an Indonesian migrant worker (PMI) whose news went viral on social media because she had a mental illness and was reported stranded while in transit at the Hong Kong airport.
