KHUSYU ' it's a job of the heart. Ali bin Abi Talib ra narrated, Rasululullah Saw said: "Khusyu 'is in the heart" (HR. Hakim). Here are some tips for reaching special prayer:
UNDERSTAND PRAYER READINGS
This is the key to khusyu prayer. You will really feel the 'presence' of Allah SWT if you understand all the prayer readings, from takbir to greetings. We will be very aware that all the necessities of our life have been fulfilled to Allah during prayer, from forgiveness to blessings, from guidance to sustenance. If we don't understand the prayer readings, we are 'delirious' or like a parrot, speaking but not understanding our own words.
Understanding the prayer readings is very helpful to avoid the trajectories of thoughts that interfere with our prayers.
FOCUS: FACING ALLAH SWT
Concentrate your heart and mind only on prayer. Even if food is available, eat first, then pray. "When the dinner dish has been prepared, then start eating it before you pray Maghrib" (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim). Remember, when we pray, we are dealing and "having a dialogue" with Allah SWT.
Hasan ibn Ali bin Abi Talib looks dead white during ablution. When asked why, he replied, "Do you know who I will be dealing with in a moment?"
Cut off contact with all the affairs at hand, renew the memory of the hereafter, and imagine that we are standing in the presence of Allah the Almighty.
DO NOT ASSIST
From Aisyah ra said, "I asked Rasulullah Saw about turning in prayer". Then Rasul Saw replied: "Looking at it is a person's negligence due to the act of Satan in a servant's prayer" (Narrated by Bukhari).
According to Jumhur Ulama ', looking at it is damned, because it can reduce khusyu' prayers. However, if he turns his chest or his entire neck away from the Qibla, then it is no longer makruh, but can invalidate prayer. "Allah SWT always faces a servant in his prayer, as long as he does not turn his head, if he turns his face, Allah will 'go'" (Narrated by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i).
ANGGAP LAST PRAYER
Let's just say that each of our prayers is the last prayer, after which we will die. If this process is successful we will feel how there is no more opportunity to pray khusyu '. The last prayer is the last offering of a servant in carrying out the orders of Allah SWT.
DO NOT MOVE BODY MEMBERS
During prayer, do not move your limbs outside of prayer, except in very urgent situations (emergencies), for example killing dangerous animals or putting out a fire that is feared to cause a fire.
From Abu Dhar ra., Rasulullah Saw said, "If one of you stands praying, then do not wipe the sand from his face because he is facing grace." (Narrated by Imam who is five).
KEEP THE PICTURE AWAY
Keep objects that can distract you, such as pictures or writing. Rasulullah Saw said, "Keep this curtain away because the picture bothers me when I pray." (Narrated by Bukhari).
We also have to wear clothes that do not have a picture or contain writing on the back (back), because it can disturb the concentration of those praying behind us.
TAKE EFFECT
The main sign of khusyu prayer is that it is influential in everyday life, from always glorifying Allah's asthma (wisdom of takbir) to spreading salvation to others, not disturbing them with the tongue and with the hand (wisdom of greeting). Prayer is a deterrent to heinous and evil deeds. Allah knows best. (ASMR). *
