Expecting Negative Results

DDHK.ORG - Usually, everyone expects positive results. But for Iffah, this time he hopes for a negative result. Because what he was waiting for were the results of the mass Covid-19 test he participated in on Sunday (6/9/2020).

ffah registered online on Friday (4/9/2020). Then he received an SMS notification from the Hong Kong Government scheduling him to take a mass Covid-19 test on Sunday, 11:30 am at Hennessy Road Government Primary School, Wan Chai.

The second SMS he received after taking the test, contained a notification regarding the number of the specimen bottle. Iffah is now anxiously looking forward to the third SMS containing notification of the test results she has taken.

This is his narrative, telling of his experience of taking the Covid-19 mass test which was held for free by the Hong Kong Government. At the same time, expressed his hopes.

Alhamdulillah, finished the Covid test. Hopefully the results are negative and always healthy. Aamiin, Allahumma Aamiin.

In the morning, before leaving for the mass test site, at the office Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (Causeway Bay) I asked the class participants of the Al-Qur'an Clinic who were reciting the Koran, which of them had taken the test and who had not. If not, I'll take them to the test location together. There are three friends who came. They haven't registered yet, but I just invited them.

When I arrived at the test center in Wan Chai, an officer asked me about my booking time. I answered, 11.30. Behind me, the three friends were following me, coming in too. Our officers were checked for body temperature and given a hand sanitizer to sterilize the hands.

After entering, we were asked to sit in chairs, each of which was approximately one meter apart. The four of us sat in a row in the same row.

I raised my hand, called the officer. Using English, I told you that the three friends who joined me had not registered online.

The officers who came to us coordinated with the officers at the entrance. The colleague informed them that they were participants who had come and immediately registered (walk-in). Using Cantonese, the female officer asked if there was enough time for additional services for the three of them. After checking the clock, his colleague at the entrance replied, Yes. While whispering to me, using English, "I can't do it next time." That is, next time you have to register online first.

I got information about this mass Covid-19 test from Facebook and the WhatsApp group. But initially, the male employer also asked if I wanted to register for a Covid test.

On Friday, my employer sent me a WhatsApp message asking for a HKID number. After a few minutes, I received an SMS from the Universal Community Testing Program informing me that my online registration was successful. It also contains information about the time and place of the test for me.

On Sunday, at 11.03:XNUMX am, I left, taking the tram from Causeway Bay. I got on the tram stop between Savory Restaurant and Hotel Regal (Pennington Street stop), then got off at the Burrows Street stop.

After taking fluids from my nose and throat, I was given a hand sanitizer as a gift. When the liquid is taken from the nose using a long cotton bud, it feels like we are swimming, then drowning (drowning), then the nose is drenched in water. My tears came out.

This Monday (7/9/2020), I haven't received an SMS notification of my test results. Please pray, hopefully the results will be negative and I will always be healthy.

Amen allahmma amen! [DDHK. ORG]
