Travelers are advised not to bring too much stuff

DDHK. ORG - Travelers are advised not to bring too much stuff, only what is needed. Reported from Republic, this was conveyed by a road safety practitioner and also the founder of Jakarta Defensive Driving Consulting (JDDC), Jusri Pulubuhu.

"One thing that must be confirmed if we want going home, only items that are needed during the trip," said Jusri, Saturday (8/4/2023).

For souvenirs that are deliberately given to relatives in the area, according to Jusri, these items should be sent via a cargo service. This is to provide comfort for the passengers in it.

So far, people often add compartments to the roof or roof of the vehicle. This, he said, will affect the balance of the vehicles that will be used to go to their hometowns.

"Items that we don't use on the trip, but are used at the place (hometown), should just be sent," he said.

Sending goods by packing them before going home has also been implemented by Jusri for the past few years. That's because to find comfort when traveling far enough so that it requires good concentration.

"I also often travel out of town, all items that are not needed during the trip I send everything first," he said.

Even so, initial checking of the vehicle that will be taken is also an important factor that must be done. Various things such as checking the condition of tires, air conditioners, and lubricants are also important to watch out for before deciding on a homecoming trip with a private vehicle. [DDHK News]
