Thibun Nabawi: Drinking Honey, Cupping, and Ruqyah

Thibun Nabawi or the original nabawiyah health concept belonging to Islam which is taught by Allah SWT and is practiced and exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. Thibun Nabawi is a concept of superholistic medicine (whole) and integral (integrated). This concept of treatment is very cheap and extraordinary.

This was stated by the expert Thibun Nabawi Ust. Sarwo Edi alias Abu Saddan in a special conversation with reporters DDHK News, Tati Tia Surati. Abu Saddan was present in Hong Kong by invitation Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) to fill the training event "Secret of Thibun Nabawi" for BMI Hong Kong on 23 January.

"The patron of Thibun Nabawi's successful life is the Prophet. From birth until he died, he was rarely sick because the quality of his health and that of his friends was extraordinary, "he said.

He explained that there are important principles in the Prophet's Thibun that must be understood by Muslims. The principle is that it is not permissible to shirk (associate associating with Allah SWT) because shirk in the world of medicine is very forbidden. "For example, we must not believe that doctors or other medicines can heal us from illness, but we must believe and believe that Allah is the true Shifa or doctor," he explained.

There are three ways of healing in the style of the Prophet, namely drinking honey, cupping, and ruqyah. Honey has many properties that are beneficial for physical health. Cupping is the process of sucking dirty blood through the skin. In medical science, blood is static blood or blood that has lost oxygen.

Ruqyah is treatment with Al-Quran otherwise known as Rukiyah Syariahiyah, namely treatment by reading holy verses Al-Quran in accordance with the Shari'a applied by the Prophet. "There is also Ruqyah who is shirk, meaning that the treatment uses the intermediary of a genie," he warned.

Talking about attendance Dompet Dhuafa in Hong Kong, Ust. Abu Saddan considered it very good. He hopes that with the presence of clerics, ustadzah, and volunteers, DDHK will continue to contribute well, empower people, and preach in Hong Kong. (Tati Tia Surati / ddhongkong.org). *
