The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) passed a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between the Hamas group and Israel in Gaza, Palestine. A total of four countries in Europe have agreed to take the first step to recognize Palestine as a sovereign state while Israel is still carrying out aggression in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Health in Gaza noted that as of Sunday (24/12/2023) 20.258 Gazans had died with 53.688 other people injured as a result of Israel's brutal aggression into the Palestinian Gaza Strip since 7 October.
