Tausiyah Milad Al-Khoiriyah Discusses True Happiness

milad al khoiriyahDDHK News, Hong Kong - Every human being in this world desires happiness. All the potential, thoughts, time, and work activities carried out have only one goal, namely to seek happiness.

"The question is what is the standard of happiness? "Said da'I Cordofa Ust DDHK. Yayat Sudrajat in his tausiyah at the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong BMI Council Al-Khoiriyah, Sunday (1/6), in Victoria Park, Causeway Bay.

He argued, most humans judge the standard of happiness according to their personal views. If we are asked one by one about the standard of happiness, the answer is likely to vary.

Someone who is not married and wants to get married, when asked about happiness, will likely answer that they can be happy when they are married. "But what is the guarantee that when they are married they will live happily?"

Ust. Yayat continued, someone who has been married for a long time, does not have children, when asked about happiness, is likely to answer that they will be happy when they have children.

Someone who wants wealth but he is not rich when asked about happiness, they will answer they can be happy when they become rich. "But is it guaranteed that when they are rich, their life will be happy?"

He said there were so many stories about people who already had wealth and popularity, but their lives were not happy. Some of them have fallen into the world of drugs, and some have even committed suicide.

“I read on the internet that in Switzerland there is a suicide clinic to speed up death at a very high cost. It was founded about four years ago with millions of patients who chose to commit suicide at the clinic, "he said.

"Why is there a suicide clinic and those who register to the clinic are rich people?"

We may also know that in Japan there is a Japanese term for suicide, namely harakiri. Why is there a term like this? A developed country with an extraordinary level of economy and technology, but it turns out that suicide has become a culture. Why did that happen? Because the wealth they have doesn't make their life happy. Then where is the happiness located? "

Ust. Yayat continued his tausiyah by telling the story of a scholar, Imam Ibn Taymiyyah, who said how unfortunate the world's inhabitants were to come out of this world without having had the chance to taste the sweetest thing in it.

He was then asked, "What is the sweetest thing in the world?" He answered, "Loving Allah Most High is the sweetest in the world."

"Has any of us ever fallen in love?" asked Ust. Yayat rhetorical. "It's possible that all of us have fallen in love, what are the most dominant signs of people falling in love? Among the most dominant signs a person is in love is remembering it a lot. When someone falls in love, they remember a lot of who they love. Every condition and time always remembers the person he loves. "

"What is the time when we love Allah SWT, how many minutes from the time we have 24 hours to remember Allah SWT? When do we remember Allah Most High? Every time and our condition is endeavored to continue to remember Allah SWT. "

"In fact, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day there are signs (the greatness of Allah) for those who are intelligent (Namely) people who remember Allah while standing, sitting and lying down" (Surah Ali Imron: 190-191).

Ust. Yayat reminded that when we can always remember Allah in all our conditions, Allah will grant us peace of mind and peace of mind. These are the main factors of happiness. So true happiness is when our hearts are calm.

"(Namely) those who believe and their hearts become at ease by remembering Allah. Remember only by remembering Allah will the heart be at ease ”. (Surah Ar-Ra'd: 28).

Peace of mind is the main asset to live the life of this world. When our hearts are calm, God willing, we will be wiser and more patient in facing every problematic life.

Indeed, every problem we face is a test from Allah SWT to test us how to respond to every problem we face.

“And We will certainly test you with a little fear, hunger, lack of wealth, souls, and fruit. And give good news to those who are patient ”. (QS. 2: 155).

"So peace of mind becomes a provision for true happiness, not only happiness in the world, but also happiness in the hereafter, and this calmness of heart can be generated from worship and dhikr that is done," he explained.
