Dai Ambassador Dompet Dhuafa 2023, Preaching to the Corner of the World

DDHK. ORG – Dai Ambassadors have an important role in expanding the da'wah needed by Muslims throughout the archipelago and even the world. This is one of the reasons for Da'wah Services Dompet Dhuafa held the opening of the Dai Ambassador Training Dompet Dhuafa 2023 on Thursday (16/03/2023), at Grand Whiz Poins Simatupang, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

This activity is a form of training before the 2023 Dai Ambassadors are assigned to various countries. Dai Ambassador himself is an ambassador Dompet Dhuafa which will be delegated to spread da'wah wings to Muslim minority countries.

This series of events takes place from Thursday (16/3/2023) to Sunday (19/3/2023). The material that will be obtained by the Dai includes da'wah and style culture Dompet Dhuafa, statesman and leadership, personal branding, model of empowerment program of ziswaf funds, zakat fiqh, da'wah journalism, preacher spirituality, challenges of today's da'wah, and so on.

Totok Hadi Fitoyo as the International Dakwah Officer Dompet Dhuafa conveyed, the purpose of the event was to present material and facilities for further discussion.

"We hope that before the Dai Ambassadors are sent for assignment in the month of Ramadan, they will receive training on minority fiqh, and also ziswaf fiqh, because Dompet Dhuafa is an Islamic philanthropic institution,” he said as quoted from the page Dompet Dhuafa.

"We also discussed how to preach in a minority country where there are very few Muslims. In addition, what is no less important is the strengthening of institutional values or Dompet Dhuafa itself, because DD's preaching is transformative preaching. Dompet Dhuafa besides preaching Islam, but also preaching related to ziswaf and da'wah delegations which met with relevant partners such as embassies, consulates, and communities there," continued Totok Hadi.

The missionary missionary delegations were also very enthusiastic about participating in the opening of the training, considering that in the previous year the program was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the Dai Ambassadors named Ustaz Lukman Hakim from Ponorogo who was assigned to Noumea, New Caledonia expressed his hope to carry out this missionary mandate.
