DDHK.ORG - Throughout the month of March 2021, Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) received a donation of HK $ 86,640. In the same period, this institution spent HK $ 123,359 for operational financing, fund-raising activities, social assistance, preaching, training, and humanity.
This was conveyed by the General Manager of DDHK, M. Imam Baihaqi, when delivering the monthly report of the institution he leads, Friday (9/4/2021). "Attached is the DDHK activity report for March 2021. Thank you for the support from all my friends. Let us continue to support and strengthen each other, "he said.
Based on the report, DDHK received zakat payments of HK $ 5,254, infaq HK $ 75,836, waqf HK $ 2,650, and humanitarian donations of HK $ 2,900. That way, in the first 3 months of 2021 DDHK raised a donation of HK $ 393,449.
"We thank all donors. Hopefully the donations issued in the form of payment of zakat, infaq, waqf, as well as social and humanitarian assistance will cleanse the lives and assets of the donors and bring blessings to life, "said Imam Baihaqi.

Social and Humanitarian Assistance
In March 2021, DDHK carried out several social activities. Among them, assistance for disaster victims in Jakarta, compensation to Tulungagung, Sidoarjo and Batang, as well as health assistance for migrant workers in Hong Kong.
The portion for social activities and humanitarian assistance reached 26,38 percent of the total DDHK expenditure during March 2021. This month, DDHK also provided shelter services to 8 Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong who needed temporary housing due to various factors.
Media and Da'wah Sector
In the media and news sector, DDHK continues to publish news and information about the Islamic world, the Covid-19 outbreak, institutional activities, as well as the latest information from Indonesia, Hong Kong and Macau. A total of 44 news and articles were published on the ddhk.org website. Meanwhile, on social media, DDHK made 208 posts on the Facebook page Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong, 43 posts on Instagram, and 28 videos on Youtube channel DDHK News.
Through the da'wah program, DDHK provided 15 online consultations, 19 religious tausiyah sessions, and organized 9 Quran study classes, both for adults and children. "These activities were attended by 755 people, consisting of various groups. Namely, expatriates, Indonesian migrant workers, and children. The participation rate has increased by more than 100 percent compared to last month, ”said Imam Baihaqi.
